What are you thankful for?

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I thought that I would see just what my child was thankful for. I wanted to make a little something and write it all down and put it up for display. It really shocked me what came out of my 5 year old's mouth. I am so proud of her! This is what she said....

1. I am thankful for God.

2. I am thankful for Jesus.

3. I am thankful for Grandparents. (you all came before Casey and I! :)

4. I am thankful for Mom and Dad. (ahhh)

5. I am thankful for cousins and friends.

6. I am thankful for my sister Leala.

7. I am thankful for movies and books.

We shall see what tomorrow, and the rest of the month brings!

God Made You Special and He Loves You Very Much!

I love our Church event Trunk or Treat! Its so much fun to be able to get to dress up and no one looks at you funny... well most years. This year we did a Veggie Tales theme. Since my two year old loves Veggie Tales I have become quite fond of it myself. I love the jokes about not having arms or legs! Seriously cracks me up every time!

My dear sweet Husband was Larry and very OK with it! I love and appreciate that he is always willing to dress up! I dressed up as Bob... and didn't really want to but you cant do the Veggie Tales trunk with out Bob! But I just didn't want to be asked if i was expecting.... because I'm not! But it was fun non the less! Jaidyn was dressed up as a new character  Could not pass up the chance to use that beautiful red hair of hers. She was the Sweet Pea Beauty. (Sweet Petunia Rhubarb) Leala was Laura Carrot. We just had to use those big eyes of hers and putt a wig/hood on top. I tried my hardest but did not win any awards this year. Oh well... there is always next year! ;)

Books Books and More Books

I have tried to gather and collect all the books I can since we are homeschooling our children. And I am wanting to organize these books by at least subject, and someday age/reading level. This is a huge task that maybe I am just crazy to even try to attempt! I started about a year ago and got somewhere but never finished. The other day I found an app that is for classroom library and it works for me in someways but doesnt quite help me out. Now I have about half listed in excel. As I am doing this I am wondering how to store these books where they are easy to get to when needed. Please any suggestions?

My little ballerina

I am so proud of Jaidyn! She  got out on stage and did her best. I hope to continue some kind of dance and or tumbling next year. We will see what Jaidyn wants. How cute she was out on stage I love to watch the video over and over again! She really has improved the past few months. At first she was so shy on the observation days. I was almost dreading paying for dance and to have her not even want to get out on stage for the recital. But I have to say we were very pleased! Love you little miss Jaidyn! You totally ROCK!

Me and my little princess!

Birthday Party

WOW! What a party! I think its OK to say that EVERYONE had a great time! We had a bouncy house, (which was a hit) dress up clothes,  toys in a tent and a bean bag game to occupy the kids. Also we had a great cake, and fun with the presents. I think Jaidyn just had the best Birthday Party EVER!
